Last week I attended the launch party for Dapper Fox’s new store on Abbeygate Street in Bury St Edmunds. The brand has relocated from elsewhere in the town and the new shop is simply stunning! Three storeys of high quality, men’s clothing awaits Suffolk shoppers – from suits to shirts, ties to socks.
The brand began in 2015 and produces its own high quality men’s clothing in collaboration with British and European manufacturers. The look of the shop reflects the brand’s outlook – classic, British style with a colourful, relaxed flavour.
The shop has been fitted out with eye-catching artwork, wooden shelving and low lights for a relaxing, cosy ambience creating the sense that you can browse at your leisure.
The Made to Measure area at the top of the building is a haven away from the bustle of the high street with refreshments awaiting customers, and books full of fabric. Here the team create bespoke suits (which could be for a wedding) and custom fit shirts. The customer can indulge their personalities by choosing from an array of linings, buttons and styling options.
I loved the socks and ties with embroidered foxes and pheasants – the launch party has already given me lots of ideas for Christmas!
